PERTH NORA wide open space, perfect for any portrait session. If you want variety in backgrounds then this is the location for you as there is so much to choose from here! The grasses change depending on time of month and throughout the year. During the cooler months the grasses are usually left uncut allowing for beautiful sun-lit grasses at dusk.
Wetlands
perth centralA central and convenient location offering dappled sunlight through the trees with long grasses in the background. Often quiet with little distraction for the kids. This location is a winner with young families right throughout the year. Sessions can also be scheduled a lot earlier in the afternoon than our other locations, my favourite light to photograph at the wetlands is around two hours prior to sunset.
Beach
perth central - march to septemeberThere is something so calming about hearing the crashing of waves and our stunning Perth beaches are my favourite place to photograph maternity and young families. I love the neutral tones and pastels we often get at sunset. It all makes for the dreamy light portraits Melissa Sprlyan Photography is known for. Perth beaches tend to have very strong winds over the warmer months which is why I prefer to photograph between March and September.
