I'm Melissa Sprlyan, your baby milestone and cake smash photographer in Perth. Photographing meaningful portraits that celebrate your baby's special milestones is a big part of what I do because once that moment has passed, it is gone - forever! My milestone sessions are truly custom and I've found parents often have a clear vision on how they wish to style baby's first birthday portraits so I aim to work together to bring this vision to life wherever I can. The session is very relaxed and often includes family portraits too, it's like two sessions in one! Baby and toddler milestones can be at any point in your child's first year and beyond, first tooth, when baby can sit, first steps, breastfeeding - well you get the idea?

Over the years I have built a list of tried and tested locations in Perth, ones that I know photograph milestone portraits well year round. My locations are central to Perth, easily accessible and safe for young children. Milestone sessions on location are scheduled late in the afternoon, usually ending just after sunset.
Wardrobe is crucial to ensuring your portraits are of the light style you see in my portfolio. I dress and style your entire family (with the exception of cake smash - to prevent garments being damaged) we have pieces for Dad and young children. I've found this to be one of the main reasons my clients choose me as their family photographer. We have over 100 pieces in our boutique style wardrobe, most of the pieces for Mum are flexible in sizing, bump friendly with easy access to breastfeed. I've found Mum's love the wardrobe because the process is simple, it eliminates the stress and time wasted on shopping. On average my clients save $500 per session using our wardrobe!
